The follow up 1998 CD release “Corps of Discovery” was also the name of Dennis’ band. Under the name Corps of Discovery, Dennis released “Anima Manna” in 2000. He released “Space Station Delta” in 2006, “A Warm Glow” in 2010. He also released “Chakras Meditation” (with Mimi Moyer) in 2012. He released an Electronic Dance Operetta "Sociodrama Role Induction" in 2015, and three albums in 2017- "Floating Free", "Ancient and Entangled", and "Accurate Instinct." Instrumental rhythmic sequences to move and groove to.

This album further explores my use off modular synthesizers, their sounds and processes. This has been combined with a variety of other sampled sounds to produce aural and rhythmic environments.

Accurate Instinct

Doctor Wize

Tribal House that is a little dark.

If you agree that Disco Sucks, then this album is probably not for you. If you like electronic dance music, you will probably dig this one. This album was recorded between December 2015 and January 2017. Tribal house, a little on the dark side, this album was inspired by a title that came to my mind many years ago, but I never used. I originally wanted to use the name Accurate Instinct for my band Corps Of Discovery. We didn't use that name so I am using it here. The tracks represent instincts experienced by humans. Although somewhat loosely associated, the tracks are to somehow evoke that instinct.

Corps of Discovery

Doctor Wize

Dance, Drum & Bass, & Jungle to get the mind and body moving.

This album was originally released in 1998. The vocals one Ou Nichez Vous is by Sarah (Czara) & Martha Younger. Vocals on Blouse and Skirt by Master Gong. Vocice on Eye Opener by Czara. Vocals on Chromium Jungle and With You by Peggy Powers (Angel). Trumpet on Ou Nichez Vous and Azure Horizons by Imir Weise. Additional drumming on Shiva Plays by Raul Arellano (Ra).

Lyrics:

Ou Nichez Vous: Ou Nichez Vous? Desape! J’ai Joie Regardez. (Where do you hang out? Strip! I’m Coming. Look)

Blouse &. Skirt (vocals and additional lyrics by Master Gong): Nothing nah go on, to blouse and skirt. People now-a days, me say, them don’t have no worth.(x2). We are faced with a world revolution. Reality: and not science fiction. Killing people is an everyday action. What you gonna say if they kill another one? No forgiveness from the almighty one!Say, the world don’t know, full of confusion. East, west, north, and south; on every land. We feel anger, for to kill someone. Them kill off them entire generation. No one to carry the paper with arguments there. Who’s last to laugh, with no more to breed? Enough of them wicked ones. Enough people greed. And so me sing say: Nothing nah go on, to blouse and skirt. People now-a-days, me say, them don’t have no worth.

Chromium Jungle: Welcome to the Chromium Jungle. We hope you enjoy your stay. Warm and silvery light, tinsel like trees. Invites you to stay, stay with me please! Or take me away on your gentle breeze. Such a lovely day, this chromium land. Jungle today, holding my hand. Oh, don’t say you’re bored, leaving the band. Your data is stored in circuits of sand.

With You: While driving or laughing, or sleeping, or screwing, I’m always with you, I’m always with you. While eating or talking, or drinking, or walking, I’m always with you, I’m always with you. While riding or surfing, or gaming, or flying, I’m always with you, I’m always with you.

Sleep Disturbed: Sleep disturbed by a desire to party (x2) Go to the club , saying “oh, I’ll leave early.” See a sweetie, “Come and dance with me.” The more we dance, the more I get horny, sleep disturbed by a desire to party. Much too late, may as well go home. Next day at work is time spent in ozone. Can’t get by with 3 hours of prone. Sleep disturbed by desire to party. Night comes and even though drained, nerves raw and frayed in the brain. To loud music, strobe lights; going back again. Sleep disturbed by a desire to party. This yearning that stresses my system. Action junkie, excitement victim. Like coolant leaking from a running engine. Sleep disturbed by desire to party.

Shiva Plays (N. Douglas- from “Mountain Ecstasy”, Dragon’s Dream Ltd): Shiva Plays (x4). In the mind, Lord Shiva plays. His ground is fantasy and imagination. All around him yonis sport. Drunk with love, they fly away. A magic spell, a dream, lightening, an echo. Shiva Plays (x4). Drunk with love, they fly away.

Floating Free

Dennis Weise

A Chilled Out collection of songs to feel good with.

Dennis Weise (a/k/a Doctor Wize), is an accomplished musician, composer, keyboardist and vocalist. He studied music at Trinity College under the illustrious modern-classical composer, Samuel Barber. He later earned a Doctorate at the United States International University in San Diego (now known as Alliant University). When not performing, Dennis is a practicing psychologist.

Dennis performed with Bill Laswell’s band in New York City in 1978, which later became known as Material. That band recorded with jazz giant, Herbie Hancock, on “Rock-It”, Columbia Records best selling extended play single at the time. He also performed with the progressive European band, Gong, while touring in NYC. He is also an accomplished studio musician. He recorded with Wailers band members in the famed Tuff Gong studio in Jamaica in 1982.

Dennis has produced and independently distributed two solo albums (“Valhalla” in 1979 and “Consciousness Program” in 1980) and recorded original music for the “Eurock: American Music Compilation” album (1982) that also featured Eddie Jobson of Roxy Music. His first ambient CD entitled, “Towards the One” was released in 1995, and has been distributed in the U.S. through Valley Recordings, formerly DNA Distribution and through catalog sales to the world with Eurock and Backroads distributors. While Dennis’ earlier work tended towards ambient electronica, the influence of dance music can be seen in his later work. Dennis has numerous unreleased works.

Dennis’ music has been featured on the web site “SerLive”, an online booking and management company for sports clubs, the promotional video for the psychologist Jon Connelly, and on the photography website “PY Photography”.

Sociodrama Role Induction

Doctor Wize

Electronic Dance Music Operetta with one voice diversified.

STORY As the opening track, an ominous atmosphere is created, one with foreboding. LYRICS It is the mid 14th. century. As the monks proceed to the cloisters for the evening ritual, they see a bright new star in the sky. Not knowing what it is, they make their way to their appointed duties. Little do they know that it is not a star after all, but a time ship.

Machine Timeship 1354 3:07 STORY Things get a bit peppy as the monks try to figure out what it is they are seeing. Who answers them. A voice from the past? The future? This song forecasts the melody revealed in Machine Time Ship 2356. LYRICS What is that light in the sky? A meteor. What is that light in the sky? A Falling Star What is that light in the sky? An Asteroid What is that light in the sky? A Time Ship

C.E. 2354 :10 STORY Now we go forward a thousand years, where things are very different. LYRICS A millennia later, this is how we reap the results of our industry.

Systems Are Failing 4:17 STORY So here we are, possibly at the end of humanity as we know it. Is is so? Can it be true? LYRICS In the future the air is hot. Our people are burning. How little time we've got. Systems are failing. Everywhere is rot. Economies in ruin. The end of our lot.

What Are We To Do 4:00 STORY The question is asked, what are we to do? This is a fundamental philosophical question. How can we better ourselves? When faced with possible extinction, this question takes on a remarkable poignancy. On another level, this song is about a failing love relationship, where one does not want to give up, and is pleading to be told what to do to make it continue to work. LYRICS This can't be the end. Damn, it's tough. Let's not pretend. I refuse to see, that this is our destiny. Our love must survive. We have to stay alive. Think hard. Help me out. I just can't give into doubt. We've got too much to loose. Oh, I must refuse, to let go of all we are, oh baby, we've come too far. Come on, give me a clue. Tell me what are we to do. Come on, give me a clue. Tell me what are we to do. Don't break my heart in two. Tell me what are we to do. Don't break my heart in two. Tell me what are we to do.

Earnest :46 STORY Now our hero is introduced. He is good with computers and solving problems. He thought he was just applying for another programming job. Little does he know that he will be pivotal in the evolutionary path of life as we know it on earth. LYRICS Earnest, from the small Carribean island of St. Lucia, always excelled in math. When he took the job at Alpha Computer Corporation, he did not know the scope of the task that he was in for.

Passions & Expectations 3:42 STORY This track asks the question of we care about, why we're in it. In a sense it harkens back to the Noah myth, with the idea of saving earth's creatures from cataclysm. The point of distinction is that it's not just about cute fuzzy animals, but also those that we may abhor and fear. We have played god in messing with mother nature. Like the Noah myth god brings down destruction, but this time the god is us, and Noah is also us. LYRICS What are our passions, what are our expectations? To save them, to save us. To save what? To save the animals. To save the ants, and the roaches, the rats, and the cats, the dogs, and the chickens, the snakes and the foxes, the lions, tigers, and bears.

Meticulous Calculations & Insight 5:04 STORY The Alpha Computer Corporation asks Earnest if he has the skills and will to the saving that they want done, to preserve humans and animals alike. Earnest is doing the research and calculations to decide if he can really pull it off, deciding if he can actually be the savior that he is being asked to be, to engineer the program to salvage life on earth, in some way, manner, or form. LYRICS Instrumental

Totally Down 4:20 STORY Now the Executives at the Alpha Computer Corporation make the decision to proceed with the program. They state that they are all in, "we are totally down". This involves doing what has to be done, collecting samples of life and encoding it, to preserve it. LYRICS We are totally down with that. Encode each creature, essential nature, Saving the structure, you get the picture. Bit by bit sample, getting what's ample We have to grapple, making a miracle. Saving all life is what we hope to do. Learning from the past we will build anew. This is the thing we must pursue. In the end we can say woo hoo. Must do it Get past this shit Let's plan it We have to split

I'm Gonna Do It 3:32 STORY Earnest, realizing what he is doing, makes the decision to follow through. He decides to take the bold steps necessary, to use technology to take an active role in continuing life that has been created on earth. LYRICS I just can't believe its true This is what they want me to do Sample everything in view To create a world anew I'm gonna do it. Since I've taken this job with Alpha Computer Corporation I must help life to take a new iteration. Me, Earnest, from this small nation Playing such a big role in creation. Working the technology Harnessing the energy My appointed duty Bring us back to safety

Sociodrama Role Inductiona 3:53 STORY According to Wikipedia, Sociodrama is "a dramatic play in which several individuals act out assigned roles for the purpose of studying and remedying problems in group or collective relationships." This therapeutic technique was created by the psychiatrist Jacob L. Moreno (1889 to 1974). This is the title track of this album. Having four bars of 3/4 followed by two bars of 4/4 time signature, it gives the impression of being out of balance. With this track the essence of what is to be sampled is identified as roles. Roles then become, in its socially interactive sense, that which defines us as who we are.
The machine created by Earnest and his team, which is doing the sampling is saying to give it all to me. People who are dissenting are saying no, we should not give our essential qualities to a machine, and so the story continues... LYRICS Give it all, to me, your role, I'll set you free. No we should, have not, let go, of who we are. Let me in, your fate, your life, I will see. What choice do, we have, but to, all agree. How do we know what to encode? We encode roles. Who's roles?, how do we define the roles? All roles.

Back In Time Or Into Space 3:28 STORY Having encoded the essential nature or quality of all life on earth, as defined as roles, Earnest & his team are now faced with the task of deciding what to do with the data. I incorporated the idea of time being like a Mobius strip, which if followed, can enable travel to the past, the Mobius also being the symbol of infinity. The idea of going into outer space to seed life elsewhere is a fairly common theme in our culture. Space warp is theorized by cosmology. LYRICS Back in Time or Into Space. Everything's encoded, how do we escape our fate. We have space travel, and now the Mobius time rate. We can go. It's not too late. Back in time, sort into space. Back in time or into space. Mobius physics gives us time travel. Distance warp is a marvel. Both options are on our plate. Back in time or into space.

Machine Time Ship 2356 4:02 STORY This track represents the realization of what it was that the monks saw in 1354 c.e. This is the time ship, but not just that. It is a vehicle of reincarnation. The creators of the program, the Alpha Computer Corporation, through genetic manipulation of the roles that have been encoded, determine what the person is reincarnated as. As the lyrics states: they decide if you come back as a lion, tiger, bear, cat, or rat. The notion of reincarnation has fascinated me from my mid teens, ever since I found a copy of the Bhagavad Gita (Song of God) on my mother's desk. While presently reading the "Light on the Yoga of Pantanjali", by B.K.S. Iyngar, I am again confronted with the idea of reincarnation, and how the concept may play a role in our lives and decisions. LYRICS n our time ship, you reincarnate. In our time ship, we decide your fate. In our time ship, what you've done In our time ship, determines what you'll become You'll come back as a lion, a tiger, or a bear You'll come back as a cat or a rat We decide

Consciousness Program 3:24 STORY This track first appeared on my album from 1980 with the same title, "Consciousness Program". At that time I was not yet a doctor so I called myself Denis Wize. This title reveals the idea that we created computers, and computers hold the key to re-create or destroy us. Is it the case that the mystery of self-destruction was created by the computers, to obtain all data about us in order to control us or obliterate us. With the DNA for all life encoded digitally, and with cybernetic autonomy, we're possibly in the Terminator scenario without even knowing it. LYRICS Consciousness program, modulate feelings and expressions. Machine you are our master, only you make us go faster. Only when you believe in the mystery can you truly see the majesty.

Our Future Approaching Fast 4:57 STORY We are in the timeship, going to our past, which will become our future. Our escape from our devastation is at hand! LYRICS Here in the darkness as we travel through time. The computers guide our systems. Our past becomes our future, we are the new pilgrims. finding solutions to our survival, we await our new arrival. going back to the past, our future approaching fast.

Resources Engaged Goal Achieved 3:17 STORY We have traveled back in time from 2356 to 1354. We appear as a bright star in the native skies. The loop is complete, and ready to begin the process of industrialization again, hopefully doing a better job this time around.
